NORTH KERNOW CHALLENGE – POSTPONED
Written By: BBC on April 30, 2011 No Comment
Once again, we’re sorry to say, we have taken the decision to
postpone this weekend’s planned tour stop at Constantine beach. The BBC is committed to holding events in good quality contestable conditions. We have been given the opportunity to postpone so we feel we should take this.
Whilst the winds are favourable, the forecast of a fading waist high
swell isn’t. We apologise to all involved and for any inconvenience to
competitors. A new date will be announced asap. Entry fee refunds
are available to competitors who don’t wish their entry to be rolled
over to the next date.

British Bodyboard Club Tour progresses southwards from Portrush to North Cornwall and Constantine Bay over the weekend of 14-15 May for event 2 on the Tour.
The Pit/NMD North Kernow Challenge will be taking place at Constantine on either the Saturday or Sunday. Alex Ledbrooke from the BBC said: “We haven’t got the luxury of a 10-day waiting period but with both days of the weekend available we’ll go with the best day for bodyboarding.” He continued, “its great to have The Pit and NMD on board to sponsor the event as its some time since the area will have seen a bodyboard comp of this size”.
Entries for all divisions can be made online at the BBC website britishbodyboardclub.co.uk/events/entry-forms
